Lilla Information
Lilla is an American singer, bandleader, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter who is originally from Portland, Oregon. Her music is defined to be Soul, R&B, Pop, Urban and Jazzy mix. She learned to play the piano herself at the age of 6. During her time in high school, Lilla toured the East Coast with the internationally recognized choir, Royal Blues. At the age of 16, she joined a socially conscious hip-hop band along with Esperanza Spalding. Lilla later graduated from Berklee College of Music.
Lilla has toured throughout the US and performed on many festival main stages. She has recorded and performed with an impressive array of artists, such as Trombone Shorty, Esperanza Spalding, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Annie Lennox, Ciara, Damian & Stephen Marley, Talib Kweli, Carole King, Kenny G, Willie Nelson, Mos Def, Michael Franti & Spearhead, and many more.
Lilla is well-known for her dynamic band and soulful originals, which bring class, presence, energy, and talent to the stage. She is said to be down to earth and a kind-hearted young artist who knows how to infuse the music with passion and soul. Lilla is known to make a positive impact in the world through her music, education, environmental, and charity efforts.
