La Maquinaria Nortena Information
La Maquinaria Nortena is the chart-topper latter-generation norteño group that was in Roswell, New Mexico. The band was formed by former Los Rieleros vocalist Polo Urias in 1994, along with percussionist Erick Urias, sax player Keith Nieto, drummer Aarón Urias, and accordionist/keyboardist Jimmy Torres. Some of the early recordings by the band are a self-titled debut in 2006, 2013's Con Mil Caballos de Fuerza, 2017's multi-charting Por Obvias Razones. Their sound is often compared to that of Los Rieleros.
Some of the later discographies by La Maquinaria Nortena include No Existen Barreras, La Nueva Era, El Fenómeno. The band also released many hit singles such as "Para Que Amarte” that made to Mexican Regional Top Ten; "Corazón Herido," "Qué Haré Sin Ti,” and "Qué Tiene Él.” Ya Dime Adiós and Generacion Maquinaria Est. 2006 were the two later albums that debuted at the top of the Latin chart.
La Maquinaria Nortena teamed up with Energia Nortena for the compilations that they named 12 Romanticas con Sax, Vol. 1. and Vol. 2. The two together issued the studio offering of new material entitled Por Obvias Razones. It came out in October and peaked at number 17 on Latin Albums and number seven on the Mexican Regional albums.
