KISS Information
Kiss is an American rock band. The current lineup comprises Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer. Kiss's first debut tour concert was on February 5, 1974, at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Alberta. On February 18, the band released their debut self-titled album. Casablanca and Kiss widely promoted the album during the spring and summer of 1974.
The band played their final cruise performance for the 2022 Kiss Kruise, which sailed from October to November of that year. Simmons has claimed that after the conclusion of the tour, which will take place in 2023 and include an additional 100 locations, he will continue working with the American rock–inspired restaurant Rock & Brews and playing with his solo band.
Later, he explained that the band was disbanding out of respect for themselves and their fans and that he expected to be overcome with emotion at their farewell gig in 2024. However, the band's manager, McGhee, asserted that the show would take place in 2023. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, the band members announced that their final concert would be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City in 2023.
