Kenneth La'ron (August 5, 1997) is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper who goes by the stage name KennyHoopla. His singles "How Will I Rest in Peace If I'm Buried by a Highway?" and "Estella" is his most well-known. On May 15, 2020, he launched his commercial debut EP, How Will I Rest in Peace If I'm Buried by a Highway? La'ron was born in the city of Cleveland in the state of Ohio.
In 2016, KennyHoopla started posting tracks on his SoundCloud website. On October 5, 2016, he uploaded Beneath the Willow Tree, an EP that included some of the tunes he had posted throughout the year and some new songs, to SoundCloud. Several music blogs praised the EP, calling him an artist to keep an eye on.
On October 26, KennyHoopla released the song "Cave" on SoundCloud, quickly becoming his most popular track on the platform. He launched his commercial debut single "Waves," accompanied by a music video, on August 6, 2017. In 2018, "Sickness" was released as a follow-up. He released the single "Lost Cause" on February 1, 2019, which became his most successful song and helped him acquire greater attention. On February 6, the music video for it was released.
KennyHoopla released the track "How Will I Rest in Peace If I'm Buried by a Highway?" on February 4, 2020. He released the single "Plastic Door" on May 13, 2020, along with the announcement that his EP "How Will I Rest in Peace if I'm Buried by a Highway?" would be released the following Friday, May 15. La'ron's music has been labeled as indie rock, pop-punk, and dance-punk, with elements of new wave and dance-punk thrown in for good measure.
