Juvenile Information
Terius Gray (March 26, 1975) is an American rapper popularly known by the stage moniker Juvenile. He became famous in the late '90s and '00s through his solo and group efforts with Birdman's Cash Money Records. In the early 1990s, Juvenile began his career as a youngster with records of bounce music that gained him a regional celebrity.
In 1995, he published his first album, "Being Myself." After he signed with Cash Money, Juvenile released the album Solja Rags in 1997, which featured the smash single "Solja Rag" in his home country. He recorded his first countrywide successes, "Ha" and "Back That Azz Up" (with Mannie Fresh and Lil Wayne) on the multi-platinum 400 Degreez a year later.
Following the success of his debut album, Tha G-Code (1999), he followed it up with Project English (2001) and Juve the Great (2003). The latter had the smash song "Slow Motion" (with Soulja Slim).
Since leaving Cash Money, Juvenile has recorded several albums, including 2004's The Beginning of the End, with UTP (including the song "Nolia Clap"), and 2006's Reality Check (which also debuted at #1).
A key to the city of New Orleans was presented to Juvenile by Mayor LaToya Cantrell in April of 2021. On June 30, 2023, Juvenile played on NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series to highly great reviews. As of July 19, 2023, 4 million people have seen the video.
