Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers is an American rock band based in Michigan. The group’s current lineup consists of Joe Hertler, Ryan Hoger, Rick Hale, Aaron Stinson, Micah Bracken, Kevin Pritchard (non-touring member), Jason Combs, and Ryan McMahon. Joe Hertler is the frontman of the band who primarily composes his songs on acoustic. The group is known for playing multiple genres, including alternative rock, pop-rock, funk rock, bluegrass, folk-rock, jam, soul, Americana, and rock. Since the band formed in 2011, it has been actively playing concerts and recording albums across the nation.
The Rainbow Seekers released its debut album entitled “On Being” in November 2011. The album was released on the Bigger Brush Media. Later on, the group performed at the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas, Electric Forest Festival in Rothbury, Michigan, Common Ground Music Festival in Lansing, Michigan, and CMJ Music Marathon in Brooklyn, New York.
The band has played alongside many notable artists such as Atomic Tom, Chris Bathgate, Breathe Owl Breathe, Dale Earnhardt Jr Jr, Matt Pond PA, The Civil Wars, Frontier Ruckus, and Electric Six. The Rainbow Seekers have released a few notable albums, including The Russell Sessions [Live] (2013), Terra Incognita (2015), Pluto (2017), and Paper Castle (2019).
