Jazmine Marie Sullivan (April 9, 1987) is an American singer and songwriter. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Fearless, her debut album, was a financial and critical triumph when it was released in 2008. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA. She produced four singles from the album, including "Need U Bad" and "Bust Your Windows," both of which charted in the top 40, with the former being Sullivan's first number one.
In 2010, Sullivan released her second studio album, Love Me Back. After a three-year break, Sullivan signed with RCA Records and released Reality Show, her debut studio album with the label, in 2015. It was her second album to reach number one on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In 2021, she released Heaux Tales, her critically acclaimed debut EP featuring the hit "Pick Up Your Feelings."
Throughout her career, Sullivan has won two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, two Soul Train Music Awards, three NAACP Image Awards, and two BET Awards. She was named on Time's 100 Most Influential People list in 2022.
