Jay Allen is an American singer and musician who is from a small town in Iowa. In 2013, he moved to Nashville to pursue his musical career. Allen quickly gained attention in the country music industry and signed his first record deal in 2014. Later on, he teamed up with Sony/ATV in 2016. Allen was honored with “The Highway Find” on Sirius XM with a song entitled “Sounds Good To Me” in 2017. Allen also released his debut EP entitled “The First Five” in the same year.
Jay Allen wrote a song for his mother, who passed away from Alzheimer’s, entitled “Blank Stares,” released in 2018. The video for this song went viral and accumulated over 300 million views on Facebook. Since then, Allen has raised over $35 million to fight the disease. Mickey Jack Cones signed a partnership deal with Emmanuel Zunz of ONErpm; they formed Verge Records in 2019. They signed Jay Allen as their flagship artist.
