Ishay Ribo (February 3, 1989) is an Israeli singer and composer. He is a Sephardic Orthodox Jew who has become well-liked by Israelis of all stripes, including the Haredim, the national religious, and the secular Jewish community. Two of his studio albums have achieved gold certification, while one has gone platinum. At eight, Ribo started singing; at thirteen, he started making music at home.
After four years of songwriting, he finally picked up the guitar. Yehuda Meisner, a music lover, played a key role in his discovery and the development of his remarkable and diverse career. At a concert at the Roman amphitheater of Caesarea in December 2019, Ribo and Akiva Turgeman sang "Al Ta'azvi Yadayim" (Don't Let Go). Ribo made history on September 3, 2023, when he headlined Madison Square Garden as the first Israeli musician.
Ribo sang alongside another Israeli artist at the March for Israel event in Washington, DC, on November 14, 2023. The "largest pro-Israel gathering in history" drew almost 300,000 attendees. He estimates that nearly all his concert bookings have come from the national-religious sector. His shows are known for the enthusiastic singing of the crowd.
