Gordy's Hwy30 Music Festival is a big American event. It has hosted many successful country music acts throughout the years. The Steal Woods and the Powell Brothers were two of the most well-known groups who performed at the fest.
The Steel Woods band from Nashville, Tennessee, started in 2016. Straw in the Wind (2017), their first album, was released exactly a year later. Old News (2019) and All of Your Stones (2021) are two more albums they've put out since then.

Taylor Powell and his brother Blake Powell established the band The Powell Brothers in 2014. Before Blake graduated from Kingwood High School in 2007 and Taylor in 2010, they toured together as supporting musicians; both were multi-instrumentalists.
They've also released some songs, some EPs, and a full-length album, Leave on the Light (2019). Over the years, they have opened for major athletic events, including the NFL Playoffs, the NHL Draft, and the Frisco Bowl. Also, the band has shared the stage with many other notable musicians.
