HARD Summer Music Festival Information
The Hard brand was established in 2007 as a national music festival, cruise, and concert series. Alternative and electronic bands, as well as up-and-coming artists, fill out the event lineups. Justice, Peaches, and 2 Live Crew headlined the inaugural Hard Music Festival on December 31, 2007, in Downtown Los Angeles. Hard hosts various events and activities, the Hard Summer Music Festival & the Hard Haunted Mansion being the most well-known.
Hard Events first announced the new Colorado festival, Hard Red Rocks, at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in March 2013. That first day of August marked the beginning of an annual tradition. Some artists who performed at Hard Red Rocks 2018 on August 2 were DJ Snake, Virtual Self, Mija, GG MAGREE, and Hekler.
Due to the pandemic in 2020, Hard Summer was canceled. In 2021, the event returned, and it has been held in the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino ever since. It will be the first big Insomniac event held in Los Angeles since 2010 and took place at the Los Angeles Exposition Park, Memorial Coliseum, and BMO Stadium in 2023.
