Grupo Bryndis Information
Grupo Bryndis is a Mexican Grupera band based in Cerritos, San Luis Potosi. The group was founded in 1983 in Santa Paula, California, by Mauro Posadas. The ensemble is well recognized as the winner of a Latin Grammy Award. The current lineup of the band consists of Mauro Posados (guitar), Gerardo Izaguirre (bass guitar), Claudio Montana (keyboards), Mauro Posados Jr. (drums), and Andy Zuniga (percussion and lead singer).
Vocalist Guadalupe Guevara and drummer Juan Guevara parted ways with Grupo Bryndis in March 2010. The group welcomed back its original lead vocalist, Tony Solis, in April 2010. The group lineup's major changes kept going, and eventually, they had a stable lineup to perform. Grupo Bryndis is considered one of the best bands to play the romantic group genre.
There are several notable albums released by Grupo Bryndis so far, including Why? (2020), 30 Years Singing To Love (2018), Our Style (2016), Addicted to You (2014), Huele a Peligro (2012), Beyond Time and Distance (2010), La Magia de Tu Amor (2008), Solo Pienso En Ti (2007), and Big 15: The Beginning of a Story (2007).
