Since the early 2000s, GDF has been a cornerstone of dance music in Colorado, evolving into the main event at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, one of the top venues in the world and the largest summer music festival in the Rocky Mountain United States. GDF left Red Rocks in 2017 and made its premiere at Empower Field at Mile High to deliver an immersive event that was impossible to achieve at the legendary amphitheater. To the pleasure of festival-goers, an enlarged experience was introduced for its 15th anniversary, which included numerous stages with state-of-the-art production, carnival rides, food trucks, a VIP village, and much more.
