Frankie and the Witch Fingers is an American psychedelic band. From cavern-clawed echo merchants to architects of prog-infected psych epics that evoke a shift, in reality, the band has progressed. After a stint with Chicago/Permanent LA’s Records, the band relocated to Brooklyn’s Greenway Records, another legendary bastion of garage and psychedelia. They’re now collaborating with psychedelic heavyweights LEVITATION and their label, The Reverberation Appreciation Society.
With the addition of Shaughnessy Starr on drums in the summer of 2018, Frankie and the Witch Fingers discovered the formula after years of looking for the particular alchemy that will tear open the cosmos. They started a new cycle, tripping into tip-on double gatefold territory, fleshing out their lysergic impulses into a monolith of sound that closes in on all sides. The band ascended to new heights of grandiosity, utilizing every minute to express their psych-soul Sabbath in four dimensions, bleeding psychic blood on a crowd impatiently anticipating their arrival.
