Frank Foster (January 22, 1982) is a country music singer-songwriter born in Cypress Bottom, which is located in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. Rowdy Reputation was released in 2011, followed by Red Wings and Six Strings, Southern Soul, Rhythm and Whiskey, Boots on the Ground, Good Country Music, Till I'm Gone, and The Way It Was.
These are the eight albums that Foster has published independently. Red Wings and Six Strings received a rating of four stars out of five from Jonathan Widran of AllMusic. He stated, "Foster's ability to connect lies in the raw emotional authenticity of his storytelling."
6,000 copies were sold in its first week of release. Upon its initial distribution, Southern Soul debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and at 67 on the Billboard 200 chart. With 9,000 copies sold in the US during its first week of release, Rhythm and Whiskey debuted at position 21 on the Billboard 200 chart and at position four on the Hot Country Albums chart.
