Fally Ipupa Information
Fally Ipupa N'simba (December 14, 1977), professionally known as Fally Ipupa, is a Congolese singer, songwriter, dancer, philanthropist, guitarist, and producer. His combination of modern and traditional Congolese music styles has earned him the nickname "Prince of Rumba. " His tenor voice is dazzling. Ipupa was the first Congolese musician to accomplish this since Abeti Masikini in 1986.
As the first African solo singer, Ipupa made history on November 25, 2023, when she sold out of Paris La Défense Arena. He sold out Brussels' ING Arena three days before his December 13, 2023 performance. In the presence of Philippe Close, the mayor of Brussels, Ipupa, was presented with a commemorative plaque for the sold-out event as they were making preparations.
On July 6, 2024, he played to an LDLC Arena crowd in Lyon, and a few days later, he sold out the Arkéa Arena in Floirac, France. Before performing at Milan's Neema Fest, Ipupa took the stage at Liège, Wallonia's multi-day music event, Les Ardentes, on July 14.
