Escape from the ZOO Information
Jesse Sendejas of the group Days N' Daze is responsible for forming Escape from the Zoo. The spirit of rebellion and optimism in Escape from the Zoo is identical to that of the original. There are six people in the band, five of whom sing, and they are all based out of Houston, Texas. Sendejas is the band's frontman and also plays guitar and sings lead. Veronica Sendejas sings and plays the mandolin for the band. Corey Page is an incredible bass guitarist, while his brother Elliott Page is a formidable drummer and bassist. They also have Jessamyn Cobb and Justin Paxton on drums. Only Cobb doesn't participate in the singing at all.
San Francisco's Fat Wreck Chords, an independent punk music label, has signed Escape from the Zoo. Killacopter, their debut album, was released in 2017 and included a strong sound with a touch of folk. Killacopter's "To Kill a Sunrise" is their most popular track, with over 800,000 Spotify plays. Songs like "Wasted Years," "Learnin' Curve," and "Sentient Beer" can be found on their sophomore album, Countin' Cards, which is scheduled for release in 2022.
