Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler is a Spanish singer and songwriter born in Madrid, Spain. When Iglesias was a senior at Miami's prestigious Gulliver Preparatory School, he made his stage debut in the school's production of Hello Dolly.
He enrolled in business classes at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, but left after only a year. After dropping out of the University of Miami, Iglesias recorded his debut studio album in Toronto.
Iglesias and Puerto Rican artist Ricky Martin confirmed a tour together for March 2020. Due to the pandemic, the tour, originally scheduled to begin on September 5, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona, and end on October 30, 2020 in Atlanta, had been pushed back to 2021.
His record for the most no. 1s on the Latin Pop Airplay Chart was extended with the release of "Me Pasé" featuring Farruko on July 1, 2021, and he reclaimed his record for the most number ones on the Latin Airplay Chart with the release of "Me Pasé" on the same day. Released on March 28, 2022, "Espacio en Tu Corazón" was Iglesias' romantic ballad for the telenovela Corazón Guerrero and was included in the Final (Vol. 2).
