Emarosa Information
Emarosa is an American alternative rock and former post-hardcore band that is based in Lexington, Kentucky. The band consists of founding member and lead guitarist ER White, Bradley Walden (lead vocalist), Matthew Marcellus (rhythm guitarist), and Robert Joffred (bass guitarist). The group was formed in 2006, and soon after its formation, the band released an EP in 2007 entitled “This Is Your Way Out.”
Emarosa released their debut studio album called “Relativity” in 2008. The album featured rhythm guitarist Jonas Ladekjaer and vocalist Jonny Craig. The group released its eponymous second album in June 2010. It was the final album of the Craig with Emarosa. The band has gone through several changes throughout its career. They also kept evolving their music in new styles time by time and gravitated towards a more pop-rock sound. Slowly and gradually, the band discontinued their original post-hardcore and hard rock sound. Now, they have been associated with several other groups, including Like Moths to Flames, Sea of Treachery, Dance Gavin Dance, Slaves, This or the Apocalypse, A graceful, and Rosaline.
Emarosa added Bradley Walden soon after Craig’s departure. On September 9, 2014, Emarosa dropped their third album named, Versus. The album brought success to the band and peaked at number 61 on the Billboard 200. Emarosa released its fourth and fifth albums, including 131 (2016) and Peach Club (2019), after it signed a record deal with Hopeless Records. Between June and July, in 2019, the band toured almost 25 cities in the United States. Emarosa has so far worked with the top labels, including Rising and StandBy.
