Tim Wu (November 10, 1989) is better known as “Elephante” that is his stage name. Elephante is an American progressive house producer and a DJ. He is based in Los Angeles. Wu start playing music at a very early age. He is a self-taught guitar artist and learned to play classical piano. "Elephante" gained popularity as his stage name because Wu related this phrase; “elephant in the room" to himself being an unhappy worker at a corporate job (although he wanted to be a famous musician).
Wu music is described as a melodic electronic music type that easily mix-up with several other music genres. Some of the preferred styles by Wu are a progressive house, big room, pop, and a trap. He is famous for remixing tracks of artists including Lorde, Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers, Zedd, and Clean Bandit. Songs by Wu are also streamed over a million times on some popular streaming platforms such as SoundCloud.
Wu performed at SERC Fall Concert in October 2014 with Sage the Gemini. The first single by Wu was titled "Temporary Love." Some other popular EPs and singles include "I Am the Elephante" (EP), "Age of Innocence," "Closer," "Plans," "Hold," Glass Mansion (EP), "Come Back for You," "Troubled," and many more. His EP Glass Mansion topped no.1 on iTunes.
