Electric Callboy Information
Electric Callboy is a German electronicore band. The current lineup includes Kevin Ratajczak, Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß, Pascal Schillo, Daniel Klossek, David Friedrich, and Nico Sallach. In 2010, the band self-released their debut extended play (EP) and distributed it through EMP. At a later date, the band re-released the EP through Redfield Records, their record label. The band's resume includes opening slots for acts such as Neaera, We Butter the Bread with Butter, Ohrbooten, Callejon, and Bakkushan.
According to frontman Kevin Ratajczak's YouTube announcement, the hunt for a new lead vocalist ended on April 24, 2020. Following the application procedure, the band announced Nico Sallach's (former lead singer of the band To the Rats and Wolves) appointment in a video that went live on June 4, 2020. "Hypa Hypa" was the band's new single, which came out on June 19, 2020. The band's new single "Hate/Love" was released on July 24, 2020. Released on September 11, 2020, the band's EP MMXX hit stores.
With the change of identity, the band dropped their first single, "Spaceman," featuring rapper Finch, on April 8, 2022. With the songs "We Got the Moves" and "Pump It" already out there, along with "Spaceman" and the rest of the new material, Electric Callboy unveiled their upcoming studio album Tekkno on April 15, 2022. The album dropped on September 9, 2022. "Fckboi" was a joint single with American metalcore act Conquer Divide on July 8, 2022.
