Eason Chan Yick Shun (July 27, 1974) is a Hong Kong actor and singer. Chan was ranked sixth on the 2013 Forbes China Celebrity Top 100 List. One of the "Five Asian Albums Worth Buying" in 2006 was U87 by Chan. This was the album in his native Cantonese, which he released in 2006. Multiple Golden Melody Awards have been awarded to Chan to date.
For his 2003 album Special Thanks To, he received Best Mandarin Male Singer and Best Mandarin Album awards. He got the award for Best Mandarin Album in 2009 for the album Don't Want to Let Go. In 2015, Chan won his second Best Mandarin Male Singer award with the album Rise and Shine.
According to Forbes, Chan was worth HK$100 million in 2014. With his 2018 album C'mon In, Chan reached Johnny Yin for the highest number of times any artist had been selected as the Best Mandarin Male Artist. From 2016 to 2020, Chan topped the charts as Hong Kong's most-streamed musician on Spotify.
Concerts by Chan in Hong Kong continued until January 2023. It was a full-fledged tour with an updated start date of April 2023. The Taiwanese portion of his trip concluded on July 23, just before his 49th birthday.
