Delta Sleep Information
Delta Sleep is a British math rock band. The current lineup of the group consists of Blake Mostyn (drums and backing vocals), Dave Jackson (bass and backing vocals), Glen Hodgson (guitar and backing vocals), and Devin Yuceil (guitar and lead vocals). In 2010, they published a self-titled EP, and in 2013, they released Management. Sullivan and Brogan left the band shortly after the release of Management to establish a family and pursue other musical endeavors, respectively. Dave Jackson and Blake Mostyn, both band friends, took their places. In January 2015, Delta Sleep released their first full-length album, Twin Galaxies.
Ghost City, their second full-length album, was released to widespread acclaim in August 2018. Tours across Europe, North America, and East Asia promoted Ghost City. Delta Sleep surprised fans with their EP Younger Years in September 2019 while on tour for Ghost City. Math rock and indie rock have defined Delta Sleep's sound. Many songs have unusual time signatures and are arranged in unusual ways.
Delta Sleep quit Big Scary Monsters in March 2021 to form their independent record label, Sofa Boy Records, named after their song "Sofa Boy" from The Younger Years EP. Delta Sleep released their new single "The Detail" in June 2021 and announced the arrival of their third album Spring Island on September 10th.
