Debórah Bond, a vocalist who was born in New Haven, Connecticut but is now located in Washington, D.C., along with her production team and band, Third Logic, have effectively blended elements of jazz, funk, progressive R&B, and British Soul to acquire a following across the U.S. and the U.K. and overseas. Deborah Bond's voice possesses several characteristics, lyrical expressions, and musical affinities shared by other renowned great ladies in music history. She lists Anita Baker, Sade, and Chaka Khan as just a handful of the musical icons and greats who have influenced and inspired her.
Dayafter, an alternative, now-classic CD debut by Deborah Bond and Third Logic, was released in 2003. AfterDay R ix CD followed three years later. Madam Palindrome, a concept album shared by Bond, is a collection of songs that offer infinite perspectives on life, love, music, and creative vision through visual art. The band took a break from touring to focus on production, songwriting, and musicianship while recording their most recent CD release.
The Madam Palindrome CD, a collection of flawless music, spent three weeks at the top of the U.K. Soul Charts and was named one of the best soul albums by Echoes magazine. Videos for the track "You Are The One" have been featured on VH1 Soul, BET, and MTV UK. This great artist and up-and-coming ensemble have much more in store for us.
