Common Kings, a band based in Orange County, California, gathered in 2011 and has become rather successful right from the beginning. Released in 2017, Lost in Paradise peaked at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Reggae Albums chart. The album received such a positive reception that the band received a Grammy for Best Reggae Album of that year.
Common Kings has composed one full-length album, four EPs, and over twenty singles. Like their studio album, the band's EPs have also landed top-ranking on the U.S. Reggae Albums chart. Two of their EPs, Hits & Mrs. and One Day, ranked second on the charts. Popular reggae band has been known to work with several well-known musicians, including Shwayze and Meghan Trainor.
