Caroline Elizabeth Rose is an American musician, songwriter, and singer. She was born in Long Island, New York, October 19, 1989. She began writing poems and songs at the age of 13, before attending Wellesley College in Massachusetts. Rose, along with multi-instrumentalist/producer Jer Coons, launched a Kickstarter to raise funds for the production of Rose's first album entitled "America Religious" in 2012.
"America Religious" was a blend of American folk music, rockabilly, and country-style genres. In 2014, Rose released her first self-distributed album nationwide entitled "I Will Not Be Afraid." It was released on Little Hi! Records. She began touring and exploring new directions in music and continued to release new material.
Almost three years later, Rose switched her record deal to New West Records and released her third studio album. The album was entitled "Loner," and it was co-produced by Rose herself along with Paul Butler. Her latest album, which she announced on January 7, 2020, was named "Superstar." Rose and Butler released the single titled "Feel The Way I Want." The song was about losing yourself but finding the self-confidence to follow your dream. The complete album was released on March 6, 2020. Rose has also appeared on television, making her debut on February 24, 2020.
