Blake Aaron, a guitarist who has been praised as "one of our greatest treasures as a guitarist" by Najee and "amazingly gifted" by Dave Koz, has released "Color and Passion," his fifth full-length album, on Innervision Records. Color and Passion already has the vibe of a best hits compilation. Aaron, a Billboard No. 1 producer, collaborates alongside successful producers Adam Hawley ("Sunday Strut") and Darren Rahn ("Grovers and Shakers"). The groovy, melodic, harmonically rich tune "Grovers and Shakers," which features Rahn's distinctive "sax stacks," almost didn't become a hit.
