Jeff Berkley and Calman Hart have delighted crowds with their authentic country wit and skillfully composed music for the past twenty years. In honor of their 20th anniversary, they performed "Wreck 'N Sow" live in 2018. A critical smash upon its initial release in 2000, "Wreck 'N Sow" went on to win the San Diego Music Award for Best Local Recording and contribute to Berkley Hart's prestigious Best New Artist victory.
Some albums are so emotionally and musically genuine that they break down genre barriers, according to SLAMM magazine. Over the subsequent years, they continued to tour the nation, playing venues such as festivals, performing arts centers, and private residences. They also recorded ten more albums and received additional accolades.
An old-timey ode to classic Americana, "O Berkley Where Hart Thou" is a passionate homage to The Band's 1976 farewell concert, "The Last Waltz," which is two of their most famous theme-show productions. Even after all these years, Berkley Hart still strives to meet the high standards set by that SLAMM evaluation from 1999. Recent news: "While The Night Is Still Young"—their most recent album—was named Best Americana Album at the SDMAs. Preliminary evaluations suggest they continue to live up to their reputation for "emotionally and musically authentic" performances.
