Brittnee Moore (September 15, 1989) is an American rapper professionally known by her stage name, BbyMutha. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Slut was Moore's "first official song" as a solo artist. Moore posted the song to SoundCloud. Cindyy Kushh was her stage name until she was "17 or 18," when she switched to bbymutha. The name came from her experience of being dubbed a "baby mother" by her boyfriend's other girlfriend, which inspired the name.
She had Khloe and Tyler, her second set of twins, after working in retail and call centers for several years and then moved to Nashville to attend fashion design school. Moore had to put her rapping career on hold because of the abuse from the twins' father and because he did not approve of her music. Moore relocated back to Chattanooga and got back into rapping after having her second set of twins. Weave, an EP consisting of three songs, was published by her in the winter of 2015.
Moore unveiled the Glow Kit EP in December 2016. The EP was chosen as one of "2017's top 20 Bandcamp releases." Produced by Luna God, "Rules" was released as a single from the EP in 2017. After the song's initial release in August, the accompanying music video debuted on YouTube. Popular R&B artists like SZA and Kehlani took notice of Moore after the video went viral.
