Babbu Maan Information
Tejinder Singh "Babbu" Maan (March 29, 1975) is an Indian film producer, music director, singer, actor, and songwriter. He was born in Khant Maanpur, Punjab, India. Maan primarily aims to reach the global Punjabi-speaking community. Since 1999, he has published eight studio albums and six compilation albums, acting in, producing, and writing screenplays for Punjabi films and making major contributions to the soundtracks of regional and Bollywood films.
Maan represents a non-profit organization in Punjab called One Hope, One Chance as its ambassador. Babbu Maan's first album, Sajjan Rumaal De Geya, was published in 1997, but most of the tracks on that album have been reworked and reissued on his subsequent albums. Tu Meri Miss India was Maan's first full-length album. It was published in 1999. Songs like "Chan Chanani," "Raat Guzarlayi," "Dil Ta Pagal Hai," "Ishq," "Kabza," and "Touch Wood" can be found on Babbu Maan's third album, "Saaun Di Jhadi," which was released in 2001. In 2003, Babbu Maan collaborated with Indian playback singers Sukhwinder Singh and Jaspinder Narula on his first film soundtrack, "Hawayein."
Ohi Chann Ohi Rataan, Maan's fourth album, was published in 2004, and Pyaas, released the following year, was one of the best-selling Punjabi albums of 2005. Mera Gham, Maan's first Hindi record, was released in 2007, and Singh Better Than King, his first religious album, was released in 2009.
