Armenchik Information
Armen Gondrachyan (August 8, 1980) is an Armenian-American pop singer hailing from Los Angeles, better known by the stage name Armenchik. Armen began singing at a very young age. After migrating to the U.S. in 1989, his family eventually settled in California, a state with a sizable Armenian American community. The 1995 album Armen & Nor Seround was Armen's debut, and it was a hit, thanks largely to his father, Hapet.
In 1998, Armen returned to Armenia. The year 2002 saw Armenchik's debut performance at the Hollywood Bowl. Glendale, California's Alex Theatre hosted two concerts in 2003 and 2004.
Armenchik has proven his versatility as an artist with several albums and songs he has produced. His repertoire showcases various musical influences, ranging from mellow ballads to stunning, energetic dance pieces. In addition to "Armenian Style," "Armenchik 1," and "Happy Birthday," there are many other notable albums.
The Kodak Theatre had hosted Armenchik twice, in 2005 and 2006. In addition to performing in several U.S. locations, including Las Vegas and Boston, he has also performed in several other nations. His top performances occurred in Russia, France, Canada, Greece, Italy, and Yerevan's Karen Demirchyan Complex.
