Aquabats Information
The Aquabats are a rock band that was established in 1994 in Huntington Beach, California. Crash McLarson on bass and the MC Bat Commander on vocals have been the band's rock steady through all of their lineup changes. The Aquabats are most known for their comic identity, in which they pretend to be superheroes who combat crime; they are easily identifiable by their masks and matching outfits.
The Aquabats! ran from 2012 to 2014 and featured the Aquabats. The Hub, an American cable channel, was home to the live-action musical action-comedy series Super Show! Throughout its three seasons, the show received eight Daytime Emmy Award nominations, winning one. The band's sound combines punk, rock, new wave, ska, and synth-pop influences.
From 2019 until 2021, the show was relaunched independently as a YouTube series after a successful Kickstarter campaign. Finally!, the band's seventh studio album, was revealed on February 29, 2024. Along with the announcement, they brought back Chainsaw: The Prince of Karate and Catboy and introduced Gorney.
