All American Rejects Information
The All-American Rejects are a rock band that formed in Oklahoma. Tyson Ritter, bassist and lead singer; Nick Wheeler, lead guitarist and backup singer; Mike Kennerty, rhythm guitarist; and Chris Gaylor, drummer, make up the band.
Wheeler and Ritter write the band's songs, and they found popularity with their 2002 self-titled record, "The All-American Rejects," released by DreamWorks Records. The RIAA recognized the album and its hit single "Swing, Swing" as platinum achievements.
"When the World Comes Down," their third studio album, arrived in 2008 and was eventually certified gold by the RIAA. The band's biggest hit, "Gives You Hell," reached the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and top 10 in several other nations.
Over 10 million albums by The All-American Rejects have been sold worldwide. Both the "Hot 100 Artists of the 2000s" and the "Billboard 200 Artists of the Decade" rated them at No. 73. "Creatrix," their first album, came out in March 2023. The band's first major headlining tour in nearly six years was announced on April 3, 2023; it started in August and will continue till early October 2023, visiting 27 cities across the United States.
