AFTM Information
The southern rock band AFTM, or A Few Too Many, from Athens, is not new to the town's music scene. The band, which began with three members and later grew to six, has performed across the Classic City. Although AFTM began by performing at fraternity parties and bar concerts, the group is now ready to take the stage at the Georgia Theatre.
Since they were about 12 years old, Forrest Whitlark, John MacLane, and Will MacLane played music together. When the three met at the University of Georgia, they realized they wanted to continue doing what they were passionate about. Later additions to the group included guitarist Kelly Bouchillon, keyboardist John Cherry, and drummer Cam Corsino.
AFTM began by performing covers at frat parties and bars around town, but the group is now ready to broaden its horizons and create more original music. After headline band Walden performed on the main stage, the band performed on the Georgia Theatre's rooftop in April. AFTM members praise their fans for helping them get to where they are now, despite all the band has gone through thus far. Even though AFTM has three singles on Spotify, the band intends to release a new full-length album.
