Aftershock Festival Information
Monster Energy primarily sponsors this yearly music event over three days and focuses on rock and metal music. Discovery Park is the event site annually, and it is held in Sacramento, California. Aftershock was initially conceived as a one-day event in 2012, and since then, it has continuously expanded, drawing more than 35,000 fans every year.
The music festival has hosted some of the most famous names in rock music history. Previous lineups have featured enthralling performances from bands such as Slipknot, Lamb of God, Bring Me the Horizon, Rob Zombie, and many more of the genre's most well-known names.
In 2013, the Aftershock Festival was already expanded to two days. So, the lineup was expanded too. That year’s lineup for Day 1 included Shinedown, Papa Roach, Skillet, P.O.D, In This Moment, We As Human, Korn, Megadeth, Buckcherry, Testament, Steel Panther, Otherwise, Love and Death, Heaven’s Basement, Butcher Babies, Eye Empire, Girl On Fire, and Nothing More. The Day 2 lineup included Avenged Sevenfold, Halestorm, Asking Alexandria, Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, HIM, All That Remains, Airbourne, Hell or Highwater, Filter, Pop Evil, SOiL, Thousand Foot Krutch, and Miss May I.
