Encore Boston Harbor is a resort and casino located in Everett, Massachusetts. It was previously referred to as Wynn Everett and Wynn Boston Harbor. The resort is under the ownership of Wynn Resorts. It opened for the public on June 23, 2019. Wynn Resorts constructed an encore Boston Harbor with a harborwalk, restaurants, a hotel, casino, spa, retail outlets, and a meeting and convention space. The notable amenities of the year-round harborwalk include paths for bikers and pedestrians, a picnic park, waterfront dining and retail, floral displays, a performance lawn, boat docks, and public art.
Encore is the largest private single-phase construction project in the history of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as per the Encore Boston Harbor website. This bronze-toned glass tower has 671 rooms, seven above-ground floors, and a gaming area. The resort also features several venues and other attractions beyond a hotel, including thirteen restaurants, a casino, a sports bar, and a spa. It also includes a strip of luxury retail shops with the resort's gaming area, including slot machines and poker tables.
The casino and hotel own tens of millions of dollars' worth of original sculptures, paintings, and mosaics. This includes a statue of Popeye the Sailor, a $28 million Jeff Koons statue. The 15 bars and restaurants available at the resort include Rare (steakhouse), Mystique (Asian/fusion), Waterfront (craft beer), Red 8 (Asian), Garden Cafe (cafe), On Deck (sports bar), and Memoire (nightclub).
