Cow Palace Tickets Information
The Cow Palace is an indoor arena located at 2600 Geneva Avenue, Daly City, California. It opened to the general public in April 1941. Currently, it has a seating capacity of 12,953 people for basketball, 11,089 for Ice Hockey, and 16,500 for concerts. It is owned and operated by the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
The San Francisco Warriors of the National Basketball Association were home tenants of the venue from 1962 -1964 and again from 1966-1971. The San Jose Earthquakes of the NASL played indoor soccer at the
Cow Palace between 1975- 1984. Since 1941, the arena has also been home to the annual Grand National Rodeo, Horse & Stock show. San Francisco Spiders of the international Hockey League played their only season in 1995. Famous bands and artists who performed at the venue include; Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Phish, Fleetwood Mac, U2, Van Halen, Sting, Prince, The Cars, Pat Benatar, Randy Rhoads, The Jacksons, The Runaways, Santana, and many more.
Political events, most notably the 1956 & 1964 Republican National Conventions, have also been held in the venue. The stadium’s most popular annual expositions include the Body Art Expo, the Grand National Rodeo, the Dickens Christmas Fair, and Disney on Ice. The Academy of Art University hosted its commencement ceremony at the Cow Palace in 2015.
