Wayne Brady Information
Wayne Brady (June 2, 1972) is an American presenter, television personality, game show host, producer, comedian, singer, and actor. He appears regularly on the improv comedy series, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Brady was born in Columbus, Georgia, and as a child, he moved to Orlando, Florida, with his aunt and grandmother.
Brady began performing in community theatre and at the Orlando Improv troupe SAK Comedy Lab when he was 16. He went to Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando and moved to Los Angeles in 1996 to develop his acting skills. For the first time, Brady appeared on national television on the sketch comedy competition called “Kwik Witz” as a recurring contestant. He won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program in 2003.
In 2001, Brady went on to star in his own ABC variety show entitled “The Wayne Brady Show.” The show lasted for nearly two seasons. He worked as a singer and released two notable albums, including A Long Time Coming (September 16, 2008) and Radio Wayne (May 31, 2011).
Brady has starred in several hit films throughout his exciting career, such as Clifford’s Really Big Movie (2004), Going to the Mat (2004), Roll Bounce (2005), Stuart Little 3: Call of the Wild (2005), Crossover (2006), Scooby-Doo! Stage Fight (2013), and The Hero of Color City (2014).
