Vladimir “Vlad” Caamaño (August 12, 1979) is an American actor and comedian. He grew up in the Bronx. After graduating from Wesleyan University, he went on to work full-time as a stand-up comedian at venues such as The Stand Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, Dangerfield’s, and Comic Strip Live. He inked a deal with NBC to develop a pilot for A Bronx Life, a sitcom based on his actual life, with producers Adam Sztykiel and Bill Lawrence. Variety named Vlad one of the ten funniest comedians to watch in 2016.
Vlad was chosen as one of the “fresh faces” for Howie Mandel’s comedy extravaganza. In 2019, he was cast as a series regular on Tommy. Vlad also assists Hispanic youngsters with learning problems at Cedars-Psychological Sinai’s Trauma Center.
