Tom Papa Information
Thomas Papa Jr. (November 10, 1968) is an American entertainer, performer, and radio host born in Passaic, New Jersey. He broadcasts the SiriusXM Satellite Radio show Come to Papa. Also, in July 2019, he and Fortune Feimster started anchoring the Sirius XM show What a Joke with Papa and Fortune.
Papa hosted the Food Network show Baked and wrote and performed on Chris Thile's radio variety show Live from Here, where he presented the "Out In America" section.
Starting in 1993, he performed at open mics and hosted at the Stand Up New York comedy club in New York City. After meeting Jerry Seinfeld at New York's Comedy Cellar, he went on tour with him. His first comedy CD was 2005's Calm, Cool, and Collected. At the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, he debuted his one-person act, Only Human, to great acclaim.
Come to Papa airs on Sirius XM Satellite Radio and is hosted by Papa, who occasionally welcomes other comedians to fill in. What a Joke with Papa and Fortune is the first live show on Netflix. It is a Joke channel on Sirius XM, and Papa and Fortune Feimster hosted it in July 2019.
In 2020, Papa performed in an hour-long comedic series for Netflix named You're Doing Great! and wrote a book of the same name.
