Timothy Meadows is a comedian and actor born in Highland Park, Michigan. Meadows attended Pershing High School in Detroit and later went to Wayne State University afterward, where he studied television and radio broadcasting. He is one of the longest-running cast members on Saturday Night Live. Meadows appeared for almost ten seasons and received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1993.
Meadows started his official comedy career by performing at the Soup Kitchen Saloon. He started his show business in Chicago as a member of The Second City comedy troupe. Meadows spoofed many famous SNL personalities, including Tiger Woods, Michael Jackson, Erykah Badu, and Oprah Winfrey. In 2019, he appeared as Adam on a web series named Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television. Meadows also co-starred alongside Ken Marino and Casey Wilson in “Marry Me,” a short-lived sitcom by NBC.
Tim Meadows still performs in Los Angeles and Chicago and appears more frequently at some notable venues such as Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and ImprovOlympic. His major film appearances include Hubie Halloween (2020), Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016), Trainwreck (2015), Chasing Ghosts (2015), Grown Ups 2 (2013), Jack & Jill (2011), and Grown Ups (2010). He also starred in many television shows such as Mapleworth Murders (2020), BoJack Horseman (2019), Miracle Workers (2019).
