Tim Heidecker Information
Timothy Richard Heidecker (February 3, 1976) is an American musician, actor, director, writer, and comedian. He was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He went to Allentown, Pennsylvania’s Allentown Central Catholic High School, from which he eventually graduated. When he went to college, he met his future comedy partner, Eric Wareheim, at Temple University in Philadelphia. While living in Philadelphia, Heidecker was a member of several indie rock bands. He was featured in the music video for “You Don’t Know Me” by Ben Folds and Regina Spektor, released in 2008.
During Herman Cain’s presidential campaign, Heidecker provided a spoof jingle called “Cain Train” in October 2012. Eight more songs would be added to complete the CD, and they were all written in the key of Cain. The album’s sales are supporting the Violence Intervention Program.
With his band, The Yellow River Boys, Heidecker released the album Urinal St. Station in December 2013 on the Drag City label. “Hot Piss,” the first song, came out in June 2013. Urinal St. Station was hailed as 2013’s best album by Vice. The song “Weatherman,” written by Heidecker and sung by Davin Wood, may be heard in the movie The Age of Reason, released in 2014.
