Tim Hawkins Information
Timothy Aaron Hawkins (March 30, 1968) is an American Christian comedian, singer, and musician best known for making fun of other songs. Hawkins was born in St. Charles, Missouri, about 30 miles west of St. Louis. He was born into a teaching family. While his mother taught third grade, his father worked as a physical education teacher. His first manager turned out to be his brother, Todd Hawkins.
Hawkins grabbed whatever job he could get his hands on after graduating college. He did a dozen customer service jobs, rented automobiles, and was a substitute teacher.
He was also a server at Olive Garden; it was then that his coworkers inspired him to join a nearby comedy club for an open mic night. When Hawkins went to his first open mic night in St. Louis in 1991, he knew comedy was his true calling.
After deciding to pursue comedy seriously in the early 2000s, Hawkins did so full-time. The topics he covered in his pieces were commonplace. His monologues on marriage, parenthood, and homeschooling quickly made him famous.
Hawkins is hosting "The Tim Hawkins" podcast alongside his wife Heather, daughter Olivia, and son-in-law Luke. His famous "Poddy Break" podcast has over a hundred episodes.
