The Polish Philharmonic Information
The largest musical organization in eastern Poland was established in 1944 and is called the Polish Wieniawski Philharmonic Orchestra. Its roots can be traced to various chamber music and solo performances delivered by musicians who formed connections within Poland after World War II. These minor occasions were expanded into an orchestral classical music gala on May 18, 1945—the first symphony concert in Poland after the war.
Since then, the group has performed on stages across the globe while showcasing renowned performers from Poland and beyond. The orchestra is currently on its first US tour under the direction of Wojciech Rodek, its chief conductor. International Henryk Wieniawski and Karol Lipinski Violin Competition, New York International Artists Association Competition, and International Global Music Partnership Competition are just a few of the competitions that featured soloist Sara Dragan triumphed in. She has also placed in about 50 competitions in Europe, Asia, and America.
