The Improvised Shakespeare Company (ICS) in a company that was established in 2005 performing its critically-acclaimed show to massive sold-out audiences in Chicago. The ISC continues to entertain a variety of audiences all across the US with its national touring company. The company players include Joey Bland, Ross Bryant, Brendan Dowling, Greg Hess, Thomas Middleditch, Asher Perlman, Tim Sniffen, Blaine Swen, John Thibodeaux, Steve Waltien, and Ric Walker.
The ICS has been featured at the Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival, UCB’s Del Close Marathon, the Piccolo Spoleto Fringe Festival, BonnarooOutside Lands, San Francisco Sketchfest, Off-Broadway in New York City, along with the prestigious Just for Laughs festival in Montreal and Chicago.
The ISC has been named Best Improv Group of Chicago by both the Chicago Reader and the Chicago Examiner. It has also received several awards in New York (New York Nightlife Awards), LA (Best of LA-LA Weekly), and Chicago (The Chicago Improv Foundation).
