Tanyalee Davis Information
Tanyalee Davis (November 27, 1970) is a Canadian-American comedian. She has a type of dwarfism named diastrophic dysplasia; that’s why she is 3 feet 6 inches in height. Davis got second place in the Seattle Comedy Competition in November 1999. She is also recognized as the first woman who made it into the competition’s finals in 10 years. Davis took the sixth overall position in October 2012 in the San Francisco Comedy Festival. She went on headlining at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in April 2001.
Davis won the Norman G. Brooks Standup Comedy Scholarship Competition in 2003 held at the Hollywood Improv. She was also part of the show named “US Comedy Invasion” in August 2003. After the show, Davis went on a UK tour in spring 2004. In 2013, she got featured at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Davis performed as a member of the Abnormally Funny People show in 2005. She worked with Simon Minty, Chris McCausland, Steve Day, Liz Carr, and Steve Best. Davis also performed her one-woman show named Little Do They Know in 2007. She has been a regular part of the series on Channel 4 TV show called; I’m Spazticus, in 2011-2012.
Davis returned to the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2013 with her brand new one-person show named “Big Trouble In Little’ Gina.”
