Steve Hill is a Canadian guitarist who has never stopped delivering wildly ambitious performances. He is known as a guitar stylist who has a vast musical vocabulary. So far, Hill has performed over 2,500 concerts in different forms. For almost a decade, Steve Hill has toured extensively throughout Europe and Canada to support his critically acclaimed solo recordings albums.
Steve Hill started his musical career as an 18-year old sideman in 1993 and was able to release his debut album in 1997. Throughout his successful musical career, Hill shared the stage with many notable artists, including ZZ Top, B.B. King, and Ray Charles. He has also been a part of many of Canada's massive music festivals. His first love was the Blues genre, but Hill also kept folk, country, rock, and other music close to explore everything that he could in the world of music.
Steve Hill won the Juno Award for Blues Album of the year in 2015, 8 Maple Blues Awards in various categories such as Albums of the Year (2014), Guitarist of the year (2014-2015), Entertainer of the Year (2014-2015), and Electric act of the year (2000-2014-2015).
