Steve Brown Information
Steve Brown is a British arranger, composer, and lyricist, and record producer. He also composed the score as well as co-wrote the book and lyrics of the West End musical named Spend Spend Spend. The musical featured Barbara Dickson as the star. The musical was produced in the rise and fall of Viv Nicholson on winning a fortune in the football pools in the early 1960s. Brown completed filming his new ITV panel game called, The Imitation Game in March 2018.
Brown is primarily known for his composing, but he has also proved himself as an adept comic. He has proved himself both in writing and performing. From 1984 to 1986, Brown was a full-cast member of BBC Radio 4 comedy sketch series named, In One Ear. The series had won the Tony Award for its success. He also composed another show for Children’s BBC show named The Ant & Dec Show.
Brown worked extensively as a jingle writer for the ITV show Saturday Night Takeaway. Brown has also been featured as a performer on many radio series, including The Lee Mack Show and Jammin’ With Roland Rivron for BBC Radio 2. He took part in many of the show’s sketches.
