Stephen Andrew Lynch (July 28, 1971) is an American musician, actor, and comedian who was born in Abington Township, Pennsylvania. While he was attending Arthur Hill High School, Lynch performed in musical theatre and community theatre, both. Lynch received a scholarship in theatre, and he went to attend The Catholic University of America located in Washington, D.C. He graduated from Western Michigan University as he got transferred there in 1990. Lynch received his BA degree in Drama from this university in the year 1993.
Lynch moved to New York City in 1996 after spending the first year in his college with his friends in California. He had some comic songs written while he was attending the university. One of the close friends asked him to play those songs in front of the audience. Lynch began performing at a comedy club, too, and soon got success around the city. Lynch also begins regularly appearing on different radio shows, including Opie and Anthony. In 2000, he signed a record deal with What Are Records? And in 2002, he signed with Vision International.
For a few years, after Lynch initiated his career, he toured several nightclubs, colleges, and universities around the country, which also helped him become a notable artist. His debut studio album was entitled “A Little Bit Special” that he released on October 3, 2000, under the record label HaHa & What Are Records?. After his first album, he kept on releasing several other successful studio albums, including 3 Balloons (March 24, 2009), Lion (November 13, 2012), and My Old Heart (July 19, 2019).
