Southern Fried Chicks is an American comedy tour. The group’s current lineup consists of Mia Jackson, Sonya White, Trish Suhr, and Etta May. The band performs one hour of stand-up special that brings together all four women who share the hilarious takes from living in Middle America to love and life. All four women have different kinds of stories and journeys that they share.
Etta May is the winner of the American Comedy Award’s “Comic of the Year.” She is from Kentucky. May is a comedy icon who is described as “Minnie Pearl with a migraine.” She has been on to “CMT,” “Showtime,” “Comedy Stage,” “Comic Strip Live,” and “Oprah.”
Sonya White, who is originally from Virginia, now resides in Chicago. Her specialty is that she combines her big city street smarts with southern charm. She has been featured on E!, Comedy Central, and HBO. Her sitcom credits include “Nightshift” on Fox. She has also appeared on “Girls Behaving Badly,” “Comedy Spotlight,” and more.
Mia Jackson is a Georgia native. She graduated from the University of Georgia, where she hit the local comedy scene. She has been thrilling her audience since the day she started to perform. Trish Suhr is also the Kentucky native who has won the Emmy for Co-Hosting “Clean House.”
